Our Local Story

Evergreen Builders fills a gap in Northwest Arkansas: custom home-building quality for smaller structures. Too often, small homes, ADUs, and backyard builds get passed over for bigger jobs or treated as afterthoughts. With 50+ years of combined experience, we're here for people who want nice, not necessarily big. Every structure is stick-built on a permanent foundation, fully permitted, and held to custom-home standards — and we handle it all, from design to final inspection. We're not a franchise or a national home builder — we're your neighbors, and we build like it.

Casey Shields

Director of Construction

25+ years building everything from commercial projects to 5,000–8,000 sq ft custom homes across NWA Casey sets the standard for how every project is built. Casey has an emphasis on building homes to last — and he doesn't cut corners.

Dewayne Langley

Project Manager

Dewayne brings years of hands-on building experience to every Evergreen project — having built over 100 homes from the ground up. He leads our on-site crews with precision, ensuring every detail meets our standard of quality from framing through final finishes.

Ben Bitner

Project Manager

Ben brings experience managing custom luxury homes in tight downtown spaces. He's passionate about building science, bringing high-performance methods into every build. His goal: keep projects on time and budget, with customers in the loop from dig to done.

Brody Boston

Brody's job is helping manage all of the planning & permitting that goes into a successful new build. Helping you identify the right space for your needs — one that works with your property, meets regulations, and fits your budget.

Finance & Operations Manager

Cooper is a life-long entrepreneur and loves helping people solve problems. With 7+ years of working with commercial and industrial construction companies, Cooper is excited to support the rapid growth of Northwest Arkansas.

Assistant Project Manager

Colby works behind the scenes to help our team manage materials, schedules, and sub coordination. His organizational and communication skills allow our team to move faster and smoother across all jobs.
